With Paola Marquez and Roni Ben-Hur
The quintet accompanied by saxophone, bass guitar and percussion.
Paola Márquez
Colombian singer based in Belgium. She studied Jazz at the Ghent Conservatory, since 2009 she has developed her musical career with projects where she has grown in different styles and roots of music that inspired her to follow this path, but always keeping that connection with Jazz that has brought her from the other side of the world. She is a versatile singer, her vocal quality is broad and impeccable, capable of touching the hearts of her audience with a warm tone and interpretations of lyrics and melodies that transcend language barriers. When she sings a cumbia it is never the same as when she slips into the melodies of jazz and bossa-nova, or gets passionate with the tonadas llaneras and lets herself go in the strength of the lyrics of tango, zamba and chacarera among others. Her record production has been with different groups such as Maguare, Palenque Matongue, and Proyecto secreto under the record label Zephyrus Records.
